Parents Can Now Check Out With Apple Pay and Google Pay
Fewer steps at checkout means more parents completing payment. Opus1 Payments now supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, so families can pay for self-booking and subscriptions online in one tap, right from their phone.
What’s New:
- Apple Pay & Google Pay support: Available now for schools using Opus1 Payments, giving parents a faster checkout option on supported mobile devices and browsers.
- One-tap checkout: Parents no longer need to manually enter card details. They check out using the payment method already saved on their device.

Full Multi-Class Admin Booking Live in Opus1
Large-scale group class enrollment used to mean repeating the same process over and over, one student, one class, one workflow at a time. Staff administrators can now handle any combination of students, dates, and classes in a single workflow, with everything needed to manage complex enrollments built into one streamlined experience.
What’s New:
- Bulk multi-payer class enrollment: Staff administrators can enroll multiple students from different families into multiple classes in one workflow, using an updated student and class selection interface.
- Per-student payment plans and start dates: Each student can have their own unique payment plan and start date within the same enrollment, so complex family arrangements never require extra passes through the process.
- Payer grouping at checkout: Enrollments from the same payer are grouped together at checkout, making it easy for staff to review enrollments and price quotes within the same family.
- Filter by teacher and age group: Staff can filter available classes by teacher and age group during enrollment, making it faster to find the right classes for each student.

Multi-Location Payroll Exports Now Include Paid Break Location Data
For multi-location schools, getting payroll right means having all the right data in one place. The detailed CSV payroll export now includes assigned location for manually-created paid break blocks, so payroll teams can categorize and reconcile across locations without any extra steps.

- Location visibility for paid breaks: Manually-created paid break (unavailability) blocks now display their assigned location in the detailed CSV payroll export.
- Applies to standard exports: Location data is now available in the standard detailed CSV export, consistent with what was previously only available in large async exports.

New Controls Let You Manage Who Views and Posts Staff Comments Separately
Controlling what your staff can see and do inside Opus1 should fit how your school actually operates. View and Post permissions for staff comments on client records are now independent of each other, so you can configure access in a way that fits your team.
What’s New:
- Separate View and Post permissions: The single staff comment toggle has been split into two independent controls. View and Post permissions for Limited Staff can now be set separately.
- Flexible by role: Set up access that fits how your school runs. Teachers can be given read-only visibility into client notes, full access, or neither.
- Automatic migration for existing schools: No setup required. Current permission settings carry over automatically.

Group Enrollment Checkout Now Supports Per-Student Payment Plans and Payer Grouping
When a family enrolls more than one student into group classes, the checkout process needs to keep up. Staff can now assign different payment plans per student and see payer totals grouped clearly on the checkout screen, among several ongoing upgrades to Group Class Enrollment in Opus1.

Group Classes, Upgraded: New Look, More Control Over Enrollments
The Enroll in Session flow has been updated with a cleaner layout and the ability to enroll multiple students with different start dates in a single workflow. More flexibility for complex family enrollments, and a streamlined checkout that keeps everything in one place. This is the first in a series of Group Classes upgrades coming to Opus1.
